We’re an online magazine devoted to women’s horror and queer horror, publishing short fiction, first-person essays, and media reviews. At Monstrous Femme, we love to tell scary stories that center women and LGBTQIA+ people. We also love to analyze the roles of women and queer people in those works, including by championing the monstrous feminine. We encourage our writers to tap into the dark, the gothic, the macabre, and (of course) the monstrous.
